Hello All!So my name is Olivia. I was not very receptive to the whole blogging world initially but I created this blog to document my travels to Madagascar this upcoming semester and beyond!
A little bit about me: I grew up in the wonderful town of Bedford New Hampshire and am currently a Junior at the University of Vermont. I love Vermont for what it is but I am itching to get out of this state once I graduate. I feel like I belong in a big city with bright lights, culture and the hustle and bustle that city life brings. So, starting next year I will make the next big step in my life and start applying to grad school. I would LOVE to live in either Boston, DC, NYC or London- why these specific cities? Well, I would like to get a Masters in International Development. I am currently majoring in Global Studies for undergrad but I have such a passion for travel and working with developing populations that it would be my dream to work for a large development organization.
Right now though, I will just focus on the things that make me happy now and worry about all that fun stuff when the time comes! I have a big trip coming up to Madagascar and I hope that all of you will follow my blog and be with me in spirit as I adjust to living in such a diverse country such as Madagascar. I hope that though this blog I will teach people what I know about the world around me, just as people have done the same for me.
